Important note
These Terms are provided for Savvy’s website and app. They are not legal advice. Savvy may update these Terms as the app changes. Continued use of Savvy after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
Effective date: June 22, 2026
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing or using Savvy, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Savvy.
2. What Savvy does
Savvy helps users discover local deals, save offers to a wallet, follow stores, and redeem eligible deals in store through a QR code or 6-digit code. Store owners can create and manage deals after account setup, billing, and admin approval.
3. Accounts and eligibility
- You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
- Savvy may require email, phone, location, billing, or store verification depending on how you use the app.
- Store accounts may require admin approval before deals are visible to shoppers.
4. Shopper use
- Deal availability, eligibility, timing, location, and redemption requirements may vary by store.
- Deals may expire, be paused, or become unavailable.
- You may not abuse redemption codes, attempt duplicate redemptions, manipulate location, or use Savvy for fraud.
- Final acceptance of a redemption may require store confirmation.
5. Store owner use
Stores are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and fulfillment of their deals. By creating a store account or posting deals, stores agree that:
- store names, addresses, logos, descriptions, prices, discounts, images, tags, and redemption terms must be accurate and not misleading;
- posted deals must comply with applicable laws and must not promote illegal, unsafe, deceptive, or inappropriate goods or services;
- stores must honor eligible active deals according to the terms shown to users, unless there is a valid reason to reject a redemption;
- stores must not create fake redemptions, manipulate analytics, impersonate another business, or misuse customer information;
- Savvy may review, reject, pause, edit, hide, or remove store content when necessary to protect users, stores, or the platform.
6. Store subscriptions, billing, cancellation, and refunds
Store subscriptions may be processed through Stripe. Subscription terms, pricing, billing periods, and available plans are shown during checkout or billing management.
- Stores are responsible for maintaining an active payment method and accurate billing information.
- If billing is incomplete, canceled, past due, or otherwise inactive, Savvy may hide store deals and prevent deal creation until billing is resolved.
- A store may manage or cancel its subscription through the available billing tools.
- Except where required by law, subscription fees already paid are non-refundable.
- If Savvy terminates a store account for misuse, misconduct, fraud, illegal activity, false information, harmful activity, or violation of these Terms, any active subscription may be canceled immediately and, to the maximum extent permitted by law, fees already paid are non-refundable.
7. Misuse, misconduct, suspension, and bans
Savvy may suspend, restrict, reject, disable, delete, or ban an account if Savvy believes the account or content creates risk or violates these Terms. Examples include:
- false, misleading, fraudulent, or illegal deals;
- attempts to manipulate redemptions, analytics, billing, approval, reviews, or store visibility;
- harassment, abuse, spam, security probing, reverse engineering, scraping, or automated misuse;
- impersonation, stolen content, unauthorized use of logos, or infringement of intellectual property;
- activity that harms shoppers, stores, Savvy, or the integrity of the platform.
Savvy may keep limited records necessary for safety, fraud prevention, enforcement, legal compliance, and preventing repeat abuse.
8. Location, notifications, and communications
Savvy may use location permission to sort nearby deals and improve relevance. Savvy may use push notifications or email for account, deal, billing, support, and security messages. You can manage notification preferences in the app or your device settings.
9. Content and intellectual property
Savvy and its design, branding, software, and platform content are owned by Savvy or its licensors. Users and stores retain ownership of content they provide, but grant Savvy permission to host, process, display, resize, distribute, and use that content as needed to operate, promote, secure, and improve the service.
10. Third-party services
Savvy may rely on third-party services such as Firebase, Google Maps or location services, Stripe, app stores, analytics, and notification providers. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and policies.
11. No guarantee of uninterrupted service
Savvy is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Savvy does not guarantee that the app, website, deals, store pages, redemptions, analytics, notifications, or billing tools will always be available, accurate, error-free, or uninterrupted.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Savvy is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, or disputes between shoppers and stores. Savvy’s total liability for any claim related to the service will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid to Savvy in the three months before the claim or $100, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Savvy harmless from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of Savvy, your content, your deals, your store activity, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.
14. Account deletion and privacy requests
You can request account deletion through the Delete Account page or by contacting Savvy. Some limited information may be retained where required or permitted for legal, safety, fraud prevention, security, accounting, dispute, or abuse-prevention purposes.
15. Changes to Savvy or these Terms
Savvy may change, pause, discontinue, or update any part of the service. Savvy may also update these Terms. Material changes may be communicated through the app, website, email, or other reasonable means.
